We found an old door knocker on E-bay. It came all the way from Florida!!!
It is gargogles like we have on our front porch.
It has three heads (I say it is the dog from Harry Potter and if you look close there is a guy who gets hit when the knocker comes down-he is a professor from the same series. Ron and I still need to go see the last Harry Potter in the theater!
My front porch flowers are beautiful this year. I winter them over every year!
Ron is making a hood for his barbeque (so he doesn't die from smoke)
It isn't finished yet.
John bought himself a computer that you have to put together. The first night it did not work!
In the morning it worked-he was soooooo excited!!! He is another
computer geek. Maybe that is what his career will be. He knows for sure his career is
not going to be house painting, staining, pressure washing, or rock moving. But he has
made money doing all this!
John and I painted the guest bedroom (it has a real bed). I think Tasha and Evie will
be our first guests as they are coming to visit at Thanksgiving. That is soooo exciting!
This wall is going to get a mirror!
It also needs a new shade. The cats did it in. NO more
animals when these three go to heaven!
The next room to be redone is my craft room. The purple walls happened years ago when
Ron and I were not home and two of our daughters painted it. It was a daughter's bedroom. They forgot to open a window (lost some brain cells maybe???) and they did not use a roller. They did it all by hand. It wasn't a bad color but now it is champaign tickle. What color would you guess that is? It is a pale, pale yellow. Perfect for a gray, drizzlly winter day here in the Pacific NorthWest. John was suppose to be helping me but he was over at Michael's helping him paint the outside of his house. Ron rolled the paint and he can hardly move today due to his arthritis! I will put a finished picture when it is done. The ugly old carpet is disappearing! We are keeping John very busy!!!
